A 44-year-old Lorain woman who had been reported missing on Wednesday has been found dead, police confirm.
After authorities were told the woman had not been seen for several days, detectives responded to a Packard Drive home on Thursday to perform a welfare check. Once on scene, the found the woman dead on the kitchen floor along with the 74-year-old male homeowner, who was alive but unresponsive.
The identities of both individuals have not yet been made public, and it is still not known how the woman died. The case is being investigated as a homicide.
