Suspect in robbery of Ohio Savings Bank in Shaker Heights

SHAKER HEIGHTS, Ohio — The FBI Violent Crime Task Force (FBI VCTF) and Shaker Heights Police Department are asking for the public's assistance to identify an unknown suspect who robbed the Ohio Savings Bank on Farnsleigh Road on Tuesday afternoon.

According to officials, the incident happened around 2:18 p.m. when the male suspect entered the bank, briefly talked with one of the tellers before pulling out a note that read "Give me all the money, I have a gun."

The man was handed an undisclosed amount of money and left the bank on foot.

Police officials say that the male may also be connected to a bank robbery that occurred in Cleveland on Monday, as well.

The suspect is described as a Black male, possibly in his mid to late 20's, six feet tall, and slim.

The FBI VCTF and Shaker Heights Police Department ask that anyone with information on this incident reach out at 1-877-FBI-OHIO.
