Where you can get a free Thanksgiving meal in the greater Cleveland area

Several organizations across Northeast Ohio are providing Thanksgiving meals free of charge.

CLEVELAND — As Thanksgiving approaches, 3News has created a list of organizations offering free Thanksgiving meals for those in need.

3News will continue to update this list as more organizations announce pickups for Thanksgiving dinners. 

Akron Bible Church 

  • Thursday, Nov. 23 
  • 11 a.m.-5 p.m. 
  • Bill Denton Center | 490 East South Street, Akron

A hot sit-down Thanksgiving meal will be offered for individuals and families in need on Thanksgiving Day. 

Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church 

  • Wednesday, Nov. 22 
  • 129 South Union Street, Akron
  • 6-7:30 p.m.  

A fully cooked dinner for four with turkey, sides and desserts will be distributed.

Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and WOVU 95.9 FM are teaming up to host a Health Fair and Turkey Giveaway. Turkeys will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Inaugural Danny Jones Thanksgiving Dinner Giveaway

The Men of Honor Social Club, Sub Zero Mission and The Cottage Painesville will be giving away frozen, canned and dried food to over 200 families in need.
