Funeral services announced for 6 killed in Ohio bus crash; Tuscarawas Valley extending Thanksgiving break for students

Three students from Tuscarawas Valley Local Schools and three adults were killed in the I-70 crash.

TUSCARAWAS COUNTY, Ohio — As the community remembers the six people who were killed in a deadly Ohio bus crash on I-70 earlier this week, including three students from Tuscarawas Valley Local Schools, funeral services have been established.

Early Friday morning, the Tusky Valley Trojans Facebook page shared the following visitation and services:

The Tuscarawas Valley district has also announced they are extending Thanksgiving break for PK-12 starting Monday, Nov. 20.

"There will be no school for students from November 20th through November 27th," according to a Facebook post by the Tusky Valley Trojans. "Students will return on Tuesday, November 28th. Thank you for the flexibility in this change as we support students and staff as we grieve."
