Ohio State Highway Patrol: 2 killed in fatal motorcycle crash in Sandusky County

Both victims were not wearing helmets on the motorcycle at the time of the accident.

SANDUSKY COUNTY, Ohio — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating after a man and woman were killed in a fatal head-on motorcycle crash in Sandusky County on Saturday.

Troopers say the crash happened at around 4:11 p.m. on State Route 101 when a 2019 Nissan Sentra drove left of center, striking a 2014 Harley Davidson Electra Glide head-on.

Both the driver, 67-year-old Donald Brown, and passenger, 65-year-old Lisa Brown of Clyde, were not wearing helmets at the time of the crash and sustained fatal injuries.

The driver of the Nissan Sentra, a 72-year-old woman, was taken to Firelands Hospital and is in Stable condition. 

The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted on scene by the Sandusky County Sheriff's Office, Sandusky County EMS, Clyde Fire Department, Sandusky County Coroner's Office, and Rush's Towing.

At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
