At least two people are dead and 10 others injured after a suspect stole and crashed a police cruiser into several other vehicles Monday night in Dayton, NBC affiliate, WDTN reports.
The station reports that the suspect fled the scene of a stabbing and then crashed into a into a tree. At the crash scene, the suspect again fled and managed to jump into a police cruiser, take off and crash into several other cars.
It is reported that five children were transported to an area hospital, one of them in critical condition. At least five others were taken to a local hospital as well. Their conditions are unknown at this time.
Accoridng to WDTN, the suspect is in police custody.
