Wine Women & Shoes event held to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Northeast Ohio

3News' Joe Cronauer hosted the event.

CLEVELAND — Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Northeast Ohio (RMHC® NEO) hosted its seventh annual Wine Women & Shoes benefit event on October 21.

3News' Joe Cronauer hosted the livestream coverage on WKYC.com, the WKYC app, and YouTube.

The live event featured heartwarming stories, makeup tips and fall fashions from Nordstrom in Beachwood Place. The models of the clothing were RMHC® NEO board members and trustees. The event also included live raffles and drawings.

Present at the fundraiser were families who found hope at Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Northeast Ohio during some of their biggest life struggles and challenges.

'Keys’ were sold to unlock one of the closets during the broadcast. The KeyBank Key-to-the-Closet raffle package, valued at a retail price of over $10,000, was won by Sarah Gray. Sarah  took home a new wardrobe filled with designer handbags, accessories, items for the home, beauty products and personal services.

For wine drinkers, the Majestic Steel USA Key-to-the-Cellar raffle offered a variety of unique wines and wine accessories as the prize. The lucky winner was Dawn Cook.

Attendees were also encouraged to support their favorite Shoe Guy. During the broadcast, the Shoe Guy raising the most funds, Jim Neville, was crowned as the King of Sole.

While the event auction is closed, you may still make a fully tax-deductible Gift from the Heart donation at wws2021.givesmart.com or www.rmhcneo.org/give-now/
