A police standoff on Newell Avenue in Shaker Heights ended early Saturday morning.
Police say they received a call late Friday, from a pregnant woman who said her boyfriend was threatening to kill her. Police were worried the man was armed.
The neighborhood was evacuated as police negotiated with the man.
The standoff lasted about 5 hours; the man was arrested around 3 a.m.
