ESPN Baseball analyst Tim Kurkjian will headline the Akron RubberDucks' annual Hot Stove Banquet on Jan. 17, 2020.

On Jan. 17, 2020, the Akron RubberDucks will host their annual Hot Stove Banquet.

And when they do, ESPN's Tim Kurkjian will be front and center, answering questions about his career and the upcoming baseball season.

The Indians Double-A affiliate announced on Wednesday that Kurkjian will headline the fourth annual event, which serves as "a celebration of baseball to help gets fans prepared for another exciting season from the RubberDucks and Cleveland Indians." Kurkjian will hold a Q&A session during the event, which will take place at Hilton Garden Inn in Akron.

“Tim Kurkijan is one of the foremost voices when it comes to the game of baseball,” said RubberDucks General Manager Jim Pfander, “and I couldn’t think of a better person to create excitement for the upcoming RubberDucks season. We would like to thank FirstEnergy for again sponsoring this event, and we are excited to help raise money for United Way of Summit County, which will make for an enjoyable night for every RubberDucks fan.”

Tickets for the event cost $100 per person and $750 for a table of eight. Every attendee is guaranteed to receive Kurkjian's autograph as well.
