GREEN, Ohio — The Summit County Sheriff's Office is investigating after shots were fired into a house in the city of Green on Wednesday.
Sheriff's deputies say the resident reported that an unknown suspect entered his yard and stole a “Dump Trump” sign. Then, a second suspect shot into the house at a “Dump Trump” sign that was displayed in the front window.
The shots caused damage to the window and the siding of the home. The Sheriff’s Office says it recovered two shotgun casings near the house.
The homeowner told deputies that he has receiving items in his mailbox including photographs of his “Dump Trump” sign and brochures supporting Donald Trump.
