RICHFIELD, Ohio — Heads up! Drivers in Summit County may need to find a new route.
The Richfield Police Department is warning drivers to avoid the area of Black Road and Brecksville Road as it is currently closed in both directions due to a large sinkhole.
Police say that it is a hazard for all motorists.
"Motorists are to avoid the area and NOT to try to go through a road that is closed unless it is local traffic only," said the Richfield Police Department on Facebook.
Additionally, Richfield police say that the estimated time of the closure is currently unknown.
