SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio — 3News is monitoring a heavy police and SWAT presence in Coventry Township.
Summit County Sheriff Bill Holland confirmed to 3News Friday afternoon that the incident is a stand-off near Cottage Grove and Killian Road, and that there is a barricaded subject in a home.
Officials believe that the subject is alone and there are no hostages inside of the residence.
At this time, Sheriff Holland says no shots have been fired by law enforcement.
No word as to what brought investigators out to the home in the first place.
