LeBron James' I PROMISE School officially opened in Akron Monday, offering a "STEM, hands-on, problem-based learning focus with LJFF’s ‘We Are Family’ philosophy to create a complete wraparound for its students and their families."

The Cavaliers and basketball legend's presence can certainly be felt throughout the halls, notably with 114 different shoes he wore throughout his NBA career.
The display will now give fans a chance to help out the children of the school: While only one of the shoes from each of the 114 pairs is displayed, the others from the pairs will be sold online, and those who buy them will get both the shoe of their choice and their name on the school's wall.
The shoes will go on sale at 4 p.m. this afternoon on UpperDeckStore.com, with all proceeds going towards the I PROMISE School.
