Students Ask 3 Questions About the I Promise Housing Development

The lead organization on the I Promise Housing in Akron gives students an update on the progress.

CLEVELAND — The I PROMISE Housing will offer 50 affordable longer-term apartment units ranging from two to four bedrooms for I PROMISE families. East Akron Neighborhood Development Corporation is managing the multi-million construction of the project. EANDC mission is the strengthen communities with affordable housing through quality rental housing and home ownership opportunities. The President and CEO of EANDC, Cheryl Stephens sat down with the I Promise News Team.

Stephen talks about how vital EANDC was during the pandemic, an update on the I Promise Housing project and why the location for the project was key.
