SANDY TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- A 38-year-old man has died after a Wednesday night crash in Stark County.
Authorities say the crash happened at 7:02 p.m. in the 6400 block of Route 43.
David Barringer was driving a 1991 Chevrolet pickup truck when “he went left of center into the northbound lane,” according to the Stark County Sheriff’s Office.
His vehicle collided head on with a 2014 Ford pickup truck.
Barringer was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Ford was taken to Aultman Hospital with injuries that do not appear to be life-threatening.
The crash remains under investigation.
