NORTH OLMSTED, Ohio -- I-480 East has reopened after a stretch of it was closed for several hours between North Ridgeville and North Olmsted.
There were multiple crashes amid icy conditions.
I-480 wasn't the only problem area, either. Heavy delays impacted drivers all throughout Northeast Ohio along I-77 and I-71.
The Orrville Police Department tweeted that today is "one of the most hazardous driving days in 2018."
WKYC's Danielle Wiggins says there were approximately 40 crashes reported by 7:55 a.m.
