The South Euclid Police Department responded to call for a woman wishing to file a report on her child’s father, February 1 around 9:15 p.m.

At the scene, the mother told police that she and her child’s father, a 24-year-old man, were arguing via text about child care.

During the argument, the suspect told the woman to look outside because he was putting a candy bar in her gas tank. Looking outside, the mother confirmed seeing the man outside her vehicle near the gas tank door.

Officials opened the gas tank door and observed what they believed to be a Twix candy bar inside the fuel tank.

The woman told police that she wanted to pursue charges against the man. However, just two days later, she contacted police again saying she no longer wished to proceed with the charges.

When asked “why”, police say she simply stated that she changed her mind.
