Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductee Grandmaster Flash will headline Sunday night's "Celestial Blast."

CLEVELAND — The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has announced their plans for when the total solar eclipse passes over the greater Cleveland area.

"Solar Fest: Come for the Sun, Stay for the Stars" will take place from Friday, April 5-Monday, April 8, with the museum extending its hours to be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets for the festival can be purchased HERE.

The four-day festival will have a variety of "cosmic activities" for rock & roll fans and families alike, including the following:

  • Live music
  • Album and playlist listening parties celebrating the music of David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Sun Ra, Taylor Swift, and more
  • Trivia contests
  • Educational & family programs
  • Curated celestial-themed artifacts from Rock Hall's vaults
  • Eclipse soundtrack blasting at the museum and throughout downtown Cleveland on the Rock Boxes

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will also offer a weekend-long pass, which includes access to the museum for all four days, a concert by inductee Grandmaster Flash, a year-long Rock Hall Membership, special activities throughout the museum and more. Passes can be purchased HERE

Officials from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame say that a detailed daily schedule will be released at a later date.

Here are the events that have been announced so far:

Sunday, April 7:

Dance the night away at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Celestial Blast (separate ticket required). Visitors will be able to explore all Museum exhibits, hear from Rock & Roll Hall of Fame experts, enjoy craft beer and specialty cocktails, and snap a commemorative photo. Headlining the Celestial Blast will be an otherworldly DJ set from Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductee Grandmaster Flash. Tickets for the Celestial Blast are available HERE.

Monday, April 8:

Join us on the Union Home Mortgage Plaza in front of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame for prime eclipse viewing (Museum ticket required).
