The day will feature two events for attendees: a home run derby at 4 p.m., followed by the Celebrity Softball Game.

Tickets for Captains' passport members will be available to purchase here at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 19. General tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, March 20, at 10 a.m. and can be purchased here.

Njoku took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to post the announcement:

"The previous year's event, featuring Greg Newsome II & Friends, proved to be a smashing success," said event organizers in a press release. "A pre-game Home Run Derby won by Cleveland Cavalier Donovan Mitchell set the stage for an unforgettable Celebrity Softball Game. Newsome, alongside Cleveland Browns teammates Myles Garrett, Kareem Hunt and Denzel Ward, as well as legendary Browns quarterback Bernie Kosar, orchestrated a memorable event for all!."

Previous guests at the Celebrity Softball Game have included Northeast Ohio natives like UFC Heavyweight Champion Stipe Miocic, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and former Ohio State wide receiver Ted Ginn Jr.

The Lake County Captains have not yet announced which celebrities will attend this year's event. Fans are asked to "stay tuned for more updates and announcements on participating celebrities."
