Ohio State WR Marvin Harrison Jr. undecided on if he will play in Cotton Bowl, return for 2024 season

The winner of college football's most prestigious award will be aired on ESPN at 8 p.m. on Saturday.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. says he is undecided on whether he will play in the Cotton Bowl later this month. He also remains undecided on if he will come back for his senior season or enter the 2024 NFL Draft.

The junior said his two goals of beating Michigan and winning the Big Ten Championship are big motivators to come back and leave that door open.

"Still undecided...coming into this year, I wanted to beat that team up north and win the Big Ten Championship and obviously I did not do that this year. I think it's a great motive to come back, if that's what I decide to do," Harrison said when asked about if he will enter the draft.

Harrison was named one of the four finalists for the Heisman Trophy award and the only wide receiver to be nominated. The other finalists are LSU's Jayden Daniels, Oregon's Bo Nix and Washington's Michael Penix Jr, all quarterbacks.

The winner of college football's most prestigious award will be aired on ESPN at 8 p.m. on Saturday.

Harrison is coming off a year where he set an Ohio State record for the most 100-yard receiving games with 15 such games in his three-year career with the Buckeyes.

During his career, Harrison has become recognized as one of college football's top receivers, leading Ohio State this season in all meaningful receiving categories such as receptions, yards and touchdowns.
