The esteemed actress took to Instagram and reposted a clip of the moment with the caption, "Well, cats outta the bag. I'm a highly professional baseball player on the side."

The mistake happened on Monday, May 20, when the Cleveland Guardians began their series against the New York Mets.

“Last year, Blake Lively made his first appearance of the year for the [Cincinnati] Reds against the Mets in long relief and threw three scoreless innings. Now here he is facing the Mets for the first time as a member of the Guardians,” said Gary Cohen during the game's broadcast.

As a response, Ben Lively shared a screenshot of her reaction to his Instagram story, writing, "The amount of times this has happened 😂."

A short clip of the moment was posted by SportsNet, showing photoshopped images of Blake Lively rocking a Cleveland Guardians baseball hat.

During the NFL season, Blake Lively was spotted alongside Taylor Swift cheering on Cleveland Heights native Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs. If the duo's relationship continues, there is a chance that both Swift and Blake Lively could be in Cleveland next December as the Browns take on the Chiefs in Week 15.
