We get it.
The Chicago Cubs are allegedly cursed and have the longest World Series drought.
We understand why the rest of the nation has jumped on Chicago's bandwagon. The Cubs' World Series appearance is good for baseball and it's a good story.
But would it kill FOX to at least pretend to like Cleveland?
Of course, viewers always claim bias in the media, but many Cleveland Indians fans are angry about FOX's World Series coverage and broadcasters, claiming obvious favoritism toward Chicago.
But take a look at Kyle Schwarber. Yes, his return from a devastating leg injury is huge. But FOX announcers spent an agonizing amount of time during the Game 2 broadcast swooning over Schwarber, with little mention of Danny Salazar, who also made his debut return from injury.
Here's what some fans noticed:
HEY @Buck STOP TALKING ABOUT SCHWARBER SO MUCH. YOU WANNA MARRY HIM? YOUR CUBS BIAS IN EFFECT.

I wonder if Schwarber had a full and complete breakfast this morning...any updates @Buck?

Gotta love the announcers making sure they say something about Kyle Schwarber every 10 seconds #SchwarberFacts

The Cubs are good. They out played the tribe tonight and got a win. But the bias needs to stop. There's two teams in the WS, not one.

Watching national news this AM, and sad to see the media bias on full display. Openly rooting for the @Cubs and ignoring the @Indians. #Sad

Anyone else find it funny how FOX doesnt hide their bias towards Cubs. They do live Pregame in Chi while in studio in LA

Didn't see any national media proclaiming that the sky was falling for the Cubs after game 1. Plenty doing so for the Indians
