CLEVELAND -- For the first time this series, the NBA Finals are back in Cleveland. And it didn't take long for LeBron James to show there's no place like home.

Mere minutes into Game 3 of the 2018 NBA Finals on Wednesday night, the 4-time MVP performed a dunk for the ages -- even by his standards -- tossing the ball off the backboard, before grabbing it himself for a monster 2-handed dunk. James' jam pushed the Cavs' lead to 12-4 with 9:36 remaining in the first quarter, with Cleveland eventually pushing its lead over the Golden State Warriors to 16-4.

The hot start couldn't have come at a better time for the Cavs, who trail the Warriors 0-2 in the best-of-seven series. A win would put Cleveland in position to tie the series in Game 4 on Friday, while a loss would put the Cavs on the brink of elimination.

Through the first two games of the 2018 NBA Finals, James is averaging 40 points per game, including a career postseason-best 51-point performance in the Cavs' 124-114 Game 1 loss. Eight minutes into the first quarter of Game 3, the Cavs lead the Warriors 20-12, with James having scored four points.
