FAIRBORN, Ohio — The Cleveland State women's basketball team will fight on at least a little longer, advancing to the Horizon League Tournament semifinals after beating Wright State 63-52 on Thursday night.

First-team All-League guard Mariah White led the way for the Vikings (21-10) with 29 points (including 14 in the fourth quarter), and senior Mariah Miller added 10 points along with 11 rebounds. The team led by only one at halftime but pulled away after shooting 50% from the field in the final period.

Junior Tyler Frierson had 12 points and 12 boards for WSU (19-12), but no one else on the team made it into double figures. Overall, the Raiders made just 21 of 67 shots (31.3%).

Sixth-seeded CSU will now get three days off before taking on top-seeded IUPUI for a trip to the league championship game Monday at noon. All tournament contests from here on out will take place at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum in Indianapolis.

Cleveland State University is offering free bus service for fans wishing to travel to Indy for the game, although riders will still have to purchase their tickets at the gate or by calling (216) 687-4848. Registration for the bus closes at 3 p.m. Friday, and you can reserve your spot here.
