Cleveland State women's basketball dominates IUPUI 75-52 for 6th straight win

The sophomore tallied 18 points and 12 rebounds as the Vikings won their sixth straight game and maintained control of the Horizon League standings.

INDIANAPOLIS — Jordana Reisma recorded her fourth double-double of the season in leading Cleveland State to a dominating 75-52 win over IUPUI Wednesday night in Indianapolis.

The sophomore forward tied her career-high with 18 points and also set a new career-high with 12 rebounds as the conference-leading Vikings (24-4, 15-2 Horizon League) cruised to their sixth straight victory. She was also 9 of 14 from the field, while Mickayla Perdue was an impressive 7 of 13 for 17 points.

Faith Stinson had 14 points and five boards for the Jaguars (6-20, 4-13), who lost for the eighth time in 10 games and shot just 32.7% from the field. CSU didn't even have to get that creative on offense, attempting only nine 3s and making two of them. The Vikes won the rebounding battle 40-29 and outscored the Jags 48-22 in the paint.

Cleveland State will continue its three-game road trip by taking on Robert Morris Saturday afternoon.
