Cleveland Browns release 2022 training camp schedule, with 11 practices open to public

Camp officially begins on July 27, and all open practices will be free. However, fans must register in advance, with tickets available starting June 23.

BEREA, Ohio — As football season approaches, we now know when the Browns will hit the practice field in Berea this summer.

The team released its full 2022 training camp schedule on Thursday, with activities set to begin on July 27. There will be 17 full-squad practices between then and Aug. 21, 11 of which will be open to the public.

Here's a look at the full list of dates, with open sessions listed in bold:

  • July 27: Closed practice
  • July 28: Closed practice
  • July 29: Closed practice
  • July 30: 2 p.m. (featuring annual Cleveland Browns First and Ten Blood Drive)
  • Aug. 1: 2 p.m.
  • Aug. 2: 2 p.m.
  • Aug. 3: 2 p.m.
  • Aug. 5: 2 p.m.
  • Aug. 6: 2 p.m.
  • Aug. 7: 2 p.m.
  • Aug. 9: 2 p.m.
  • Aug. 10: Closed practice
  • Aug. 14: 2 p.m.
  • Aug. 15: 2 p.m.
  • Aug. 16: 2 p.m.
  • Aug. 18: Closed joint practice with Philadelphia Eagles
  • Aug. 19: Closed joint practice with Philadelphia Eagles

Senior Vice President of Marketing and Media Brent Rossi released the following statement:

"Training camp is an incredible time of year for our team and fans due to the heightened excitement in anticipation of the upcoming season – our fans are eager for the season to start, and we are eager to host them at the CrossCountry Mortgage Campus. Everything we do is focused on creating incredible experiences and special memories for our fans, and training camp provides an atmosphere where we can provide those opportunities to them in a special setting as we all prepare for the 2022 season."

All public practices are free, but fans still must register for tickets in advance, with each account able to reserve up to four seats. Season ticket holders will have an exclusive 48-hour window to make reservations beginning Tuesday, while the general public will be able to get tickets starting next Thursday.

Gates will open roughly one hour before all open practices. Dates and times are subject to change, and in the event of bad weather, practices will move indoors and be closed to the public.
