Follow along below for live updates during Day 3 of the 2023 NFL Draft.

DAY 3

  • Round 4, No. 111: Dawand Jones, T, Ohio State University

Jones was one of the more surprising players available coming into Saturday. The 6-foot-8, 374-pound offensive lineman spent four seasons with the Buckeyes and was named a First-team AP All-American. During the 2022 season, Jones started all games at right tackle.

  • No. 126 (from Vikings): Isaiah McGuire, DE, Missouri

McGuire was a First-team All-SEC selection, who recorded 7 sacks and 2 forced fumbles during the 2022 season. The 6-foot-4, 275-pound defensive end totaled 116 tackles and 16 sacks during his four-year campaign with the Tigers.

  • Round 5

    •  No. 140 (from Rams): Dorian Thompson-Robinson, QB, UCLA

The Cleveland Browns added another backup QB to the roster on Saturday. UCLA QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson will join the quarterback room of Deshaun Watson, Josh Dobbs and Kellen Mond. During the 2022 season, Thompson-Robinson had a 69.6 completion percentage, throwing for 3,154 yards and 27 touchdowns.

  • No. 142: Cam Mitchell, CB, Northwestern

During his career with the Wildcats, Mitchell recorded a stat line of 19 pass breakups and two interceptions. The 5-foot-11,191-pound CB recorded a 4.47 40-yard dash at the Combine and a 1.48 10-yard split. Mitchell was named an honorable mention All-Big Ten Conference for his 2021 season efforts.

The Browns released video of the exchange between Mitchell, GM Andrew Berry and HC Kevin Stefanski when the team told Mitchell they would be selecting him with pick 142. The video can be seen below.

  • Round 6, No. 190: Luke Wypler, C, Ohio State

For the second time in the 2023 NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns have selected an Ohio State Buckeye.

Once again adding depth to their offensive line, Wypler falling to 190 is a big surprise at this point. The 6'3", 303 pound center is coming off of a highly successful career as a Buckeye, allowing only one sack in his career.

Wypler may well be the Browns center of the future, but will serve behind incumbent starter Ethan Pocic who recently signed a three-year extension to stay with the Browns during free agency as well as returning veteran Nick Harris.

  • Round 7, No. 229: Traded to Baltimore Ravens for 2024 6th Round pick

And that's a wrap for the Browns 2023 selections in the NFL Draft!
