Game preview

After amassing a 4-3 record through the first seven weeks of the season, the Browns will kickoff division play with a Halloween matchup against their chief rival, the Steelers. Last season, Cleveland went 2-1 against Pittsburgh, including consecutive wins in Week 17 and the AFC Wild Card round -- the latter of which marked the Browns' first postseason win since the 1994 campaign.

At this point, the two teams find themselves in a similar position as both teams will be hoping to avoid falling to last place in the AFC North with a loss on Sunday. Both the Browns and Steelers have also dealt with inconsistencies at the quarterback position, with Baker Mayfield missing the first game of his NFL career last week due to a shoulder injury.

Mayfield, however, will be back in the lineup on Sunday, while 39-year-old Ben Roethlisberger could be playing in his final game at FirstEnergy Stadium as the Steelers starting quarterback. Suffice to say, there's plenty riding on the line on Sunday in what could very well be a season-altering game for both teams.
