'Painful to watch': Social media vents after Cleveland Browns get pummeled by New England Patriots

What once seemed like a Super Bowl contender is now 5-5 with its postseason dreams hanging in the balance, and no one is being spared from the wrath of Browns fans.

CLEVELAND — No one is happy.

How could they be? The Browns suffered their worst loss in 16 years Sunday when they got pummeled 45-7 by the New England Patriots. It was a tremendous letdown in a game that could have major playoff implications, and it seemed like everything went wrong for Cleveland.

The defense gave up 452 yards and could not get off the field on third down. On offense, the offensive line was overmatched by the Pats' front seven, and Baker Mayfield struggled before being forced out of the game with an injury.
