Chagrin Falls becomes raging rapids after heavy rain

Rain, rain, go away!

CHAGRIN FALLS, Ohio — All of that heavy rain has to go somewhere.

The Chagrin Falls has become raging rapids due to all the rain we've received. WKYC streamed live from the falls earlier. Watch it again below:

Portions of southern Cuyahoga County and Summit County are underwater. The areas with the most rain within the last 48 hours (as of 8 a.m. Monday) include Summit, Richland, Ashland and Wayne counties where the National Weather Service says 3-5 inches have fallen

“Lots of flash flood problems along the I-76 corridor from Wadsworth to Norton to Barberton to Akron,” the National Weather Service tweeted early Monday morning.

The bad news? We don't expect to see much sunshine until a small break Wednesday. Click here to see the full forecast.
