After reporting thousands of customers lost power Friday night, FirstEnergy says thousands remain without power as of 8:01 p.m. on Saturday, particularly in Cuyahoga and Geauga counties. Here is the list by county:

  • Ashtabula - 738 outages
  • Cuyahoga - 1,427 outages
  • Geauga - 1,346 outages
  • Lake - 614 outages
  • Lorain - 19 outages
  • Medina - 10 outages
  • Portage - 499 outages
  • Summit - 71 outages

But that’s not all…

“Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high-profile vehicle,” according to the National Weather Service.

The wind comes with temperatures that will hold in the 40s and low 50s until subsiding Saturday evening. Temperatures will warm nicely by next week, though, as highs reach the 70s.
