CLEVELAND — Thousands gathered Saturday morning in Mall-C in downtown Cleveland to celebrate taking steps toward living healthier and longer.
The Cleveland Heart Walk raised over $1 million for the Cleveland American Heart Association research grants, and public health initiatives.
That's important because the No.1 and No. 2 global killers are heart disease and stroke. The walk promotes heart-healthy living and physical activity.
Participants could also enjoy healthy noshing at "Eat Street" and kids enjoyed the new and improved Kids Zone.
