Akron Police searching for suspect wanted for 2017 murder of 18-year-old

AKRON, Ohio — Akron Police are asking for the public's help in finding 26-year-old Chris Johnson, who is wanted for his involvement in the 2017 murder of an 18-year-old. 

According to police, Johnson and three other men kicked open the door of a house in the 600 block of Minerva Place in the afternoon of September 19, 2017. They shot and killed the victim, 18-year-old Brandon Belleville. 

The three other suspects, CQuincy Chatman, Harold Burros, and Lamarr Jackson, were all charged and convicted for Belleville's death. 

Chris L. Johnson's last known address is on Andrus Street in Akron. He is described as 5’6” tall, weighing 230 lbs. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
