CLEVELAND — Tuesday was a great day for Cleveland Cavaliers F Cedi Osman.

He scored 26 points to help lead the Cavs to a 116-113 win over the Washington Wizards at Quicken Loans Arena.

The 23-year-old was also named to the World Team for the upcoming MTN DEW ICE Rising Stars game at NBA All-Star Weekend in Charlotte. Osman is the 18th member of the Cavs to participate in the game, the first since Matthew Dellavedova in 2015.

Osman has been a bright spot in what has been a difficult season for the Cavaliers. In 49 games, he's averaging 12.4 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per contest. His scoring average is up 8.5 points per game from last season, which is the third-highest scoring increase among all NBA players this year.

The second-year forward has scored in double figures in 32 contests this season, including eight games with 20 points or more, and has posted three double-doubles.

The 2019 MTN DEW ICE Rising Stars will pit 10 first- and second-year NBA players from the U.S. against 10 first- and second-year NBA players from around the world. The game is set for Friday, Feb. 15 at Spectrum Center in Charlotte.
