Car slams into Cleveland home as driver fights with carjacker
June 17, 2019: It was a wild night for one driver on the city’s east side. Police say a man crashed into a garage while fighting off a carjacker overnight. It happened as the carjacker tried to steal the man’s SUV, but the driver refused to get out and drove away with the suspect inside the vehicle. They fought over a gun, and eventually drove through a lawn on E. 73rd Street before crashing into the garage.
