The deadline for entry is July 1.

CLEVELAND — Calling all high school singers!

How would you like a shot at a $10,000 scholarship for singing your favorite song?

The fourth annual Shining Star CLE competition is accepting video audition entries right now, but hurry because the deadline is July 1st. The event benefits memory care programs at Montifiore.

Entering is free and there's a three-minute max for each audition.

Usually the show is at Playhouse Square, but because of the pandemic, this year's will be virtual.

The top four winners earn cash prizes. Any high school student in grades 9 – 12 (as of September 2020) in Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage or Summit counties, including home-schooled students, are eligible to enter.

Go to www.shiningstarcle.org for more info on how to enter and contest rules.
