AVON, Ohio — Meet 52-year-old Kasey Crawford Kellem a school counselor by day and "elfin" around by night.
"Anything I can climb on, get on top of, or get over and pose, I’ve been posting."
From golf carts, to haircuts to polar bears to the goodtime record scratch, this elf has been everywhere but a she...wait, never mind.
"I’m 5'1", but my whole life I’ve been up to shenanigans," Kellem told us.
Kasey’s posts as a real-life "Elf on the Shelf" have made their rounds, bringing joy for all to see.
"It’s what I do for a living, helping everyone get through their tough times," she said.
And she knows how important it is to smile through those tough times, especially after losing her husband Craig Kellem back in 2015 to prostate cancer.
"I had 12 amazing years of this wonderful man who got me and loved my shenanigans," she remembered. "It was so fun, and he was so sweet. What a gift."
It’s valuable lessons that she learned from her husband that are now bring a smile to many faces during a time we need laughter the most.
"My motto is 'My journey is to help everyone else get through their journey.'" she declared.
