Making Cleveland Browns brownies with a baker in Mayfield Heights

Here we go Brownies!

MAYFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio — Football season has arrived, and you can feel the hype throughout Northeast Ohio.

With the first game of the season just days away at FirstEnergy Stadium, we woke up feeling dangerous (and hungry) Friday morning. So we sent Jasmine Monroe to a cook up some brownies with a baker in Mayfield Heights.

Get it? A BAKER in MAYFIELD Heights?

So what's in this special brownies recipe courtesy of Casa Dolce?

Here's the lineup:

4 eggs

1 ½ cups of cocoa

1 tablespoon of salt

1 tablespoon of baking powder

1 tablespoon of vanilla

2 cups of melted butter

2 ½ cups of sugar

1 ½ cups of flour

2 cups of chocolate chips

Mix eggs, cocoa, salt, baking powder and vanilla until smooth. Add the melted butter, flour and sugar. Stir until smooth.

Place the ingredients into a greased 9x13 pan and bake for 25-35 minutes at 350 degrees.
