CLEVELAND — Cleveland ice cream is synonymous with Mitchell's.
The beloved brand will celebrate 20 years of business Oct. 6 with a birthday celebration, complete with special discounts and flavors.
The celebration started last month with free scoop giveaways announced on the brand's Instagram page. The party has continued into October with a special birthday cake ice cream flavor. Mitchell's is also currently serving special pumpkin spice and autumn caramel flavors for fall.
This Sunday, Mitchell's will offer single scoops at a special price: $1.65. It's the same price that customers paid back in 1999, when the company was born. Pete and Mike Mitchell, founders of the iconic brand, will also be on site at Mitchell's Ohio City location to greet customers.
Mitchell's will also partner with the Greater Cleveland Food Bank and Second Harvest Food Bank of North Central Ohio this Friday through Sunday, as customers will have a chance to make donations with their ice cream purchases.
Mitchell's has 10 shops across Northeast Ohio.
