I want to thank my assistant prosecutors, the Avon Lake Police Department, and most importantly, this brave survivor, for all of their work in holding Stephens accountable.” Prosecutor Tomlinson continued, “I also want to thank the members of the jury for their careful consideration of the evidence and arguments put before them.”

Stephens was designated a Tier III sex offender as part of her sentence. Upon her release from prison, she must register with the Sheriff every 90 days for the rest of her life.
