UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio — University Heights police are asking for the public's help in tracking down the man who kidnapped a woman, stole her car, and forced her to withdraw a large amount of cash at a local bank.

According to the department's Facebook page, a 36-year-old woman parked her car at Macy's at around 11:30 a.m. on Friday, October 16. She was immediately approached by a man who was armed with a rifle or shotgun and ordered to get back into her car. The suspect got into the car with the woman and forced her to drive to Huntington Bank and make a large cash withdrawal at the drive-thru teller window.

The suspect then ordered the woman to drive to PNC Bank, where he forced her out of the car. He then drove the victim's car to a different part of the shopping center, got out, and left in a dark green SUV (pictured below).
