Akron Police Department searching for stolen pit bull puppy

AKRON, Ohio — EDITOR'S NOTE: The video above was previously aired on WKYC about a Cleveland groomer that cares for dogs with anxiety. 

The Akron Police Department is asking for help finding a pit bull puppy that went missing between April 15 and April 18. 

According to the Akron Police Department, an unknown suspect broke into an Akron apartment located on the 900th block of Haynes Street. 

On Friday afternoon, the Akron Police Department released pictures of the pit bull with hopes of finding the missing puppy. 

Those with information on this incident are encouraged to contact Akron Police Detective T. Kelley by phone at (330) 375-2464, the ADP Tip Line (330) 374-2TIP or the Summit County Crimestoppers, Inc. at (330) 434-COPS. 

Callers are allowed to remain anonymous. 

Community members can also text tips to TIPSCO at 274637.
