Akron police have identified the person they believe shot and killed a 20-year-old man Tuesday morning on the city's south side.

Twenty-one-year-old Devon Williams is still at large and wanted for murder. His photo was one of three potential suspects officials shared following the incident yesterday, but it is now believed the other two were not involved.

The shooting occurred just after 10 a.m. on the 1200 block of South Arlington St. The victim—identified as Shawn Prude—was pronounced dead at the scene with gunshot wounds to the neck and torso, and the suspect fled on foot.

Williams is described as being 5-foot-8 and weighing 160 pounds with a last known address on Vicgross Ave. in Akron. He should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information regarding Williams' whereabouts is asked to immediately call the Akron Police Department's Detective Bureau at (330) 375-2490.
