Fahey was killed last January while setting up road flares on Interstate 90 near Warren Road. He was assisting at another crash scene when he was struck by a car, which fled the scene.
The man driving the car, identified as Israel Alvarez, 44, was later arrested in Lorain and charged with aggravated vehicular homicide and hit-skip.
