Cleveland police searching for gas station robbery suspects who cashed stolen Ohio Lottery tickets

CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Division of Police is asking for the public's help in finding suspects who robbed a gas station at gunpoint and cashed stolen Ohio Lottery tickets.

Here is a timeline of the incidents: 

March 7, 10:59 p.m. 

Cleveland police say a group of three suspects entered Rebel Gas Station on Nottingham Road. One suspect entered the store with a handgun, and the other two had crowbars. A fourth suspect waited outside in a black BMW 328I. Police say several items were taken from the gas station, including cash, lottery tickets and tobacco products. The suspects fled from the gas station northbound onto East 185th Street and were last seen at East 161st Street and Damon Avenue.

March 8, 10:32 a.m. 

Less than 12 hours after the first incident, a male wearing a red hoodie arrived in a red Nissan Altima at the East Side Market on St. Clair Avenue. According to Cleveland police, the suspect cashed in lottery tickets taken from the robbery at Rebel Gas Station. 

Shortly after, the same male arrived with another man at 835 Superior Avenue, the East 81st Deli, and cashed two more of the stolen lottery tickets.
