Downtown Cleveland announces expanded food truck series for weekdays during summer 2024

Mark your calendars! This summer, an expanded food truck series will offer diverse cuisine options and music every weekday.

CLEVELAND — As warmer weather moves into Northeast Ohio, Downtown Cleveland Inc has announced its plans for annual spring and summer events, including Walnut Wednesdays, the popular weekly food truck gathering.

However, this year, there will be an expanded food truck series in downtown Cleveland.

The series, which will take place from May 1 to Sept. 30, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., will offer diverse cuisine options and music every day of the week.

“This daily programming throughout Downtown’s streets and public spaces elevates the already vibrant culture of the core,” said Downtown Cleveland President and CEO Michael Deemer. “This is all part of our strategy to create a lively and engaging 15-minute, 18-hour city. It showcases Cleveland’s diversity and unique attributes while creating opportunities for people to get out of the office and enjoy Downtown.”

Brand new this year, Downtown Cleveland Inc announced Truck Stop Thursday, which will accompany the return of favorites like Memorial Monday, Food Truck Tuesday and Walnut Wednesday. Additionally, Free Stamp Friday, formerly known as Food Truck Friday, is also making a comeback.
