North Olmsted police officer struck by shoplifting suspect who remains at large

Police are asking for your help in tracking down the suspect and her getaway driver.

NORTH OLMSTED, Ohio — Police in North Olmsted are asking for the public's help in finding a female suspect and her getaway driver who struck an officer after a shoplifting incident on Thursday night. 

According to a Facebook post by the North Olmsted Police Department, the officer was transported to an area hospital and is being evaluated. 

Police are looking for the suspect, pictured below, along with a gray Kia Sportage. The vehicle may have a stolen dealer license plate of 003ADK. 

If you recognize the female, call the North Olmsted Police at (440)777-1234. 

Also, if you see the vehicle, call the police in the community where you are located.
