LAKEWOOD, Ohio — The Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles is expanding its self-service kiosks to more locations in Northeast Ohio with the newest one now available at a Discount Drug Mart store at 15412 Detroit Ave. in Lakewood.
It’s known as Ohio BMV Express… But what does it actually offer? Here’s how the Ohio BMV explains the kiosks:
Ohio BMV Express is part of an overall customer service strategy to empower Ohio BMV customers to conduct their business with the BMV in the most ways possible. These kiosks are one of the many options provided by BMV that make it easier to keep current on vehicle registration renewals.
Simply scan the barcode or enter your information manually.
The ATM-like machine will accept your payment and print your vehicle registration and license plate sticker on the spot!
Officials say the whole process takes less than two minutes.
