South Euclid woman dies of stab wounds in domestic violence incident: Police

South Euclid police said a suspect was taken into custody at the scene.

CLEVELAND — A woman is dead and a suspect is in custody following a domestic violence-related stabbing in South Euclid on Saturday, police said. 

Police responded to an address on Argonne Road and found a 63-year-old woman suffering from multiple stab wounds. The victim later died at a hospital.

The victim has since been identified as Heidi Garriott.

South Euclid police said a suspect was taken into custody at the scene. The police department is withholding the suspect's name as formal charges are pending.
