A birthday bash, turkey trot and veterans honored: 'It's All Good (News!)'

It's time once again for your weekly dose of happy, uplifting stories.

CLEVELAND — Feeling down lately? Need something to brighten your mood? Well, it's time once again for a lineup of stories that will make you smile.

First up this week, a party for a pooch. Avery works for the Summit County Prosecutor's Office in Akron, helping victims of different kinds of assault and abuse as they testify in court. He recently turned ten, and was honored with a bash that included decorations and, of course, cake.

To Fairview Park next, where the library has a super cool program to help kids get the hang of reading. They have partnered with the Lake Humane Society, which brings in dogs for the kids to read to! People from the shelter say the animals adore the individual attention, and the kids really like to have such an attentive audience.

A funny picture from the Ashland County Sheriff's Office got some traction on social media recently. Someone snapped a pic of a turkey lurking outside the county jail! It looked like he was trying to get inside.

We're all about celebrations on 'It's All Good (News!)' because what better way to spread joy then to celebrate an occasion, or anything, really. This time, the V.A. celebrated 100-year-old Chester Lloyd Jr., a WWII veteran, for his milestone birthday. They held a car parade, which Chester adored. Watch the video to see the reaction.

Then another celebration for another veteran, this time, in California. Major William White's community calls him a national treasure, and he just turned 106 years old! See how they honored him.

We want you to share your good news with us, so that we can share it with the world!
